At Retrade.ng, your satisfaction is our priority. We strive to ensure every transaction on our platform is smooth, transparent, and secure. However, we understand that there may be occasions where a return or refund is necessary. Please review our policy below:
1. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, the item must:
- Be returned within 7 days of delivery.
- Be in the same condition that you received it — unused, with tags (if applicable), and in its original packaging.
- Include proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt).
Please note: Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-returnable” are not eligible for return.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned, including:
- Digital products or downloads
- Opened personal care items (e.g., grooming tools, earbuds)
- Customized or made-to-order products
- Gift cards
3. Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Log in to your Retrade.ng account.
- Go to My Orders and select the item you wish to return.
- Click on Request a Return and follow the prompts.
- Once your request is approved, you’ll receive return shipping instructions.
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged, defective, or incorrect.
4. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, you will be notified of the status. If approved:
- A refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
- For wallet or credit-based purchases, the refund will reflect as store credit unless otherwise requested.
Please note: Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery:

- Include your order number, a brief description, and clear photos of the item.
We’ll work quickly to resolve the issue — whether through a replacement, exchange, or full refund.
Seller-Specific Return Policies
As a marketplace, some sellers may have their own return policies. We recommend reviewing seller terms before making a purchase. If a dispute arises, Retrade.ng will mediate to ensure fair resolution in line with our buyer protection policy.
